Enumclaw resident Pete Meredith died Oct. 26, 2011, at his home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Carrolls, Ore., to Ray and Florence (Berry) Meredith. He enjoyed fly-fishing and bowling and was a member of the Moose Lodge and Lions Club in California.

He is survived by wife Lesina Meredith of Enumclaw; sons Doug Meredith and wife Evelyn, Mitchel Meredith and Steve Meredith; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Meredith.

A memorial service will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church . Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery at a later date.
