Polly Ann French, 88, of Enumclaw died August 9, 2017. She was born in Colfax, Washington on October 4, 1928 to parents Merle and Kathryn (Shoemaker) Price. Polly Ann was an active member in her church, especially in her younger years, this is where she met her late husband Athol “Frenchie” French in August of 1946. They were married 6 weeks later on October 12, 1946 and remained married for 60 years until Frenchie’s death in 2007.

During her life Polly Ann enjoyed many activities including genealogy, singing and playing the piano. Most of all Polly will be remember for her love of family and friends, both of which were incredibly important to her.

Polly Ann is survived by her sons Robert French and wife Nellie of Marysville and Tim French and wife Deana of Enumclaw; daughters Pam Coultard of Enumclaw and Meg Horath and husband Walt of Tenino; and brother Layton Price and wife Judy of North Haven, CT. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Ray and Arthur Merle.
