Buckley resident Preston R. Miller died May 26, 2019. He was 64.

He was born Feb. 14, 1955, in Selma, Alabama. He lived for music, played the blues guitar was a member of the South Sound Blues Association and loved Muddy Waters. His bands included the Michal Miller Band and Snake Oil Daddy. He worked at Rainier School for 30 years.

He is survived by wife LaDonna Miller of Buckley; sons Nathaniel R. Miller and Christopher D. Miller, both of Bonney Lake; and sister Martha Miller of Phoenix.
