Buckley resident Robert Bastin, 93, died June 22, 2018, in Enumclaw.

He was born March 10, 1925, in Jasper, Missouri, to Berton and Bessie Bastin. He was a dairyman for most of his life. He liked traveling the United States and visiting the national parks.

He is survived by his wife, Alta Bastin of Buckley; son Wayne Bastin (Cindy) of Vancouver, Washington; daughters Susan Reichert of Graham, Washington, and Betty Nitsche (Don) of Enumclaw; stepdaughter Jenette Altarus (Ron) of Sammamish, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service took place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Evergreen Memorial Park. The service was directed by Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.
