Enumclaw resident Robert D. “Bob” Marrapodi, 72, died March 26, 2012.
He was born March 12, 1940, in Seattle. He joined the Navy after graduating from Kent-Meridian High School. He was a self-employed log truck driver who loved his family and spending time with his children. He never missed a sporting event or a dance recital. He loved camping and fishing and sharing his love of those things with family. He also enjoyed golfing, playing cards, taking trips to the casino, telling old trucking stories and hanging out with friends.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; sons Tony Marrapodi and wife Chrissy and Tim Marrapodi; daughter Katina Marrapodi; brother Jack Herrick and wife Dian; and sisters Elaine Zittell, Jo Allen and husband Fred, Toni Sacone and husband Ron, and Linda Hedrick and husband Michael.
He was preceded in death by parents Ann and Bill Herrick and Dominic Marrapodi.
A celebration of his life will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at The Shop at Tony Marrapodi’s home.
