Sophia Mae Deti, 76, died peacefully on April 29, 2019, surrounded by her family, following post-surgical complications.

Known to most as Mae, she was born June 25, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to the late Linel and Olga Meikle. On Dec. 15, 1961, she married Glenn Deti in Ogden, Utah. Together they had three children. She enjoyed puzzles, gardening, crocheting and being a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn Deti; son Wesley Deti (Karin); daughters Tiffany Tripp (Travis) and Nicole McMahan (Ryan); brother Lee Meikle (Arlene); sisters June Johnson and Twila Ferguson (Greg); sisters-in-law Mavis Bateman and Sandra Meikle; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sisters Wanda Dunn and Iris Hall and brothers Ronald Meikle, Emery Meikle and Arvid Meikle.

Memorial services took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. A reception followed at her home.
