Verne G. Knott

Black Diamond resident Verne G. Knott, 92, died April 29, 2014, in University Place, Wash.

He was born April 8, 1922, in Victoria. B.C.

He is survived by daughters Judy Hanley and husband Fellow of Enumclaw, Jean Finney and husband Larry of Carbonado, Ronda Gann and husband Bob of Enumclaw, Robin Wood of Black Diamond and Rory Lane of Orting; sons Randy Dedmon and wife Tami of Bonney Lake, David Knott of West Seattle, Howard Knott and wife Laurie of Easton, Wash., and Tim Knott of Puyallup; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A service with military honors is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 S.E. 240th St., Kent, Wash. 98042
