William Fredrick Baumann died Jan. 24, 2012, at the age of 91.

He was born in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, in 1920, came to America at the age of 6 and became a citizen in 1927. He was active at the Enumclaw Senior Center where he enjoyed the many friends and activities. He enjoyed singing in the Senior Larks.

He is survived by his wife Marie Baumann; son Henry Baumann; daughters Kathleen Sawyer and Helen Lewis; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

A service will take place at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a 1 p.m. gathering for friends and family at the Enumclaw Senior Center.
