William W. Johnson died at home in Puyallup, WA on Aug. 7, 2019.

William W. Johnson died at home in Puyallup, WA on Aug. 7, 2019. Bill was born in Tacoma, WA on December 7, 1937 to Waino and Lillian Johnson. The family lived in Carbonado, WA where he was raised and lived for 79 years.

He is survived by his wife Alice Jane; his daughters Jane Johnson (Jodie White); Trudi Flagg (Brian); Marci Bitner (Brian); his sisters, Beverly Ross (Neil); Judy Bauman (Dennis); Linda Strub (Bill); a brother, John Johnson (Sheila), 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.

Bill was retired from Weyerhauser where he worked for 44 years. He was an avid bowler in his younger years and would tell stories of bowling in the same leagues along side Earl Anthony. He loved to hunt and fish and was a collector of antiques. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Wilkeson Eagles.
