William Provin

William D. “Bill” Provin passed away at his home Tuesday, March 12.

William D. “Bill” Provin, life-long resident of Renton, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 12. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Lou (Albrecht) Provin, who died in 1997. He is survived by his daughters, Paula R Provin and Kathy J Wetherbee, his son in-law Mark Wetherbee and his grandsons, Justin T Wetherbee and Austin C Wetherbee, all of Renton.

Bill possessed a strong work ethic from an early age which he maintained throughout his life. In 1963, he joined McLendon Hardware where he worked until his retirement in 2002. He rose through the ranks to manage the Sumner store. His neighbors and many friends will attest to Bill’s quiet generosity and kindness which he often concealed behind outspokenness and a dry wit. He will be sorely missed.

There will be a celebration of life at the home of Mark and Kathy Wetherbee at 17524 W. Lake Desire Dr. SE, Renton, WA 98058 on May 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
