We always enjoy Wally’s columns and his “Vow to have an outdoor wedding” (Courier-Herald, June 15) was no exception. I’d like to thank him for his kind words about our Shangri-La wedding site, but remind him that the generator-power is long gone and we now have full electricity provided by Puget Sound Energy. At Shangri-La one can enjoy the scenic beauty of a magical place with majestic trees, burbling creeks, a spectacular waterfall and summer serenity on the Green River. You can learn more about this unique place at ShangriLaOnTheGreen.com or at Facebook.

With regard to Wally’s closing and we hope facetious advice to couples (“don’t get married”), we get down on one knee and propose. If Wally ever gets ready to exchange vows at an outdoor wedding site with his lovely girlfriend of many years, Shangri-La stands ready with towering cedars and welcoming arms.

Cheers!
