Well, two nights of raucous noise and two more to go. Today (Friday) I attempted to make contact with the city but to no avail. Finally contacted the police department to inquire if anything was going to be done and was told nothing would be done as they have a permit to make noise until 11 p.m.  When I inquired what if I make a noise complaint she explained that they were exempt. That seems rather outrageous to me why are they exempt from violating the peace and quiet of local citizens.

I fully understand that the city needs money but all day long their music is very quiet and tolerable and then evening comes along and the windows rattle and the walls shake to the voom-voom of their bass systems. It would seem to me that they should have been treated like anyone else and told to turn it down. It is not at all pleasant to be awakened by this “Christian music” that disturbs everyone within the local area. Is $70,000 really all that important?
