Appreciation for the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Franciscan Healthcare System | Thank You

To Donna Russell-Cook, president of St. Elizabeth Hospital:

Our family would like to take this opportunity to thank you, the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Franciscan Healthcare System for the wonderful care given to our mother, Anna Mae Jensen, during her recent stay at your facility.

On July 19, our elderly mother fell and broke her hip at High Point Village, where she lives. She was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital at 11:30 p.m. I was with her in the emergency room and later after she was diagnosed with a broken hip and transferred to the third floor.

The entire experience, from the emergency room through her admittance procedure, her surgery and her care following, was outstanding.

The physicians, from Dr. Johnson in the emergency room to Dr. Bishop and Dr. Christian were most impressive, and the support staff were some of the best that I and my son, Kelley Jensen, have encountered. (Combined, we have over 54 years experience in the fire service and EMS fields so we do notice the difference in care quality.)

Please take the time to post this compliment where deserving doctors and staff can see that their impact and performance is greatly appreciated by the family members of those that have received their care.

I believe this area has yet to realize what the Franciscan Healthcare System has done for our small community. Please continue the great work that is being done and focus on these positive feedback remarks.

Larry Jensen, first vice president,

Enumclaw Regional Healthcare Foundation,

and the family of Anna Mae Jensen
