Letters to the Editor

A lump of coal with meaning | Letter

The staff of Palmer Coking Coal Company would like to thank your readers for their donations to Vine Maple Place.

We were able to raise $368 from those who picked up gift-wrapped “Lumps of Coal” for Christmas giving to friends and family.

Some of the donations came from truck drivers and retail customers who purchase soda pop at our retail yard in Black Diamond, 100 percent of which goes to support Vine Maple Place, a locally based 501(3)(c) charitable organization providing hope, help, and housing to homeless children and their families.

Bill Kombol,

Palmer Coking Coal Company
