Disappointed that county has not given money

I was very disappointed to hear that the King County Council has not put in their budget money for the 2010 King County Fair.

As someone who has participated in the fair I think it’s important we keep the tradition. The King County Fair is one of the oldest fairs west of the Mississippi. Probably anyone who grew up in Enumclaw grew up going to the fair. I am hoping my children will have the same experience.

Mayor Wise and his wife Linda have started a petition to encourage King County to continue the fair. Please join me in signing this petition. It’s important we don’t let this fair die. Please sign the petition the mayor and his wife are circulating and help save the fair.
