Council was right to drop equestrian theme

Amen to the City Council abandoning the “horse” theme.

The concept was such a slap in the face to our logging and dairy farming heritage. And after that highly embarrassing horse-sex scandal that made worldwide news a few years back, this plan never should have even been considered. Now if we could just get the city to dump those Welcome Center plans and put more effort into fixing our streets...
