Tennis

Sumner beat Clover Park 5-0 Sept. 13.

In singles, Grant Fulton won 6-1, 6-2 and Trey Brooks won by default.

In doubles, Will Mortell and Hunter Bleha won 7-5, 6-3. Jacob Heuett and Scott Brown won 6-0, 6-1 and Delbert and Charlie Oxborrow also picked up a default victory.

Enumclaw High tennis topped Auburn Mountainview 3-2 Sept. 13.

Hornets got wins from Dan Milat, No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1.

The doubles team of Kevin Johnson and Michael Lucarelli who lost the first set 6-2 then one a 7-1 tiebreaker and the final set 7-5.

The doubles team of Landon Berry and Jesse Kieft also won, rebounding from a 6-4 loss to win 6-3, 6-3.

White River defeated Franklin Pierce, 3-2, Sept. 13.

Tanner Williams lost the second and third set 6-4, 7-6(8-6)

Jason Tyler and Justin Gaull won 7-6(7-4), 6-1

Noah Geehan and Thomas McCarragher lost the first set 6-3 then won two straight 6-4, 6-3
