WRHS GOLF: Peterson leads Hornets

Ryne Peterson led White River High’s boys golf team to a 55-26 victory over Washington Friday at Tapps Island Golf Course. Peterson finished at 2-over par 37.

Peterson was also medalist in WRHS’ 51-48 league loss to Franklin Pierce Sept. 13. WRHS also dropped a 52-50 match at Fife Thursday.

Against the Cardinals, Peterson finished at 1-over par 36 at Tapps Island. It was Peterson’s best round of golf as a Hornet.

Tanner Shertsobitoff and Zahn Brooks each finished at 45 for eight and 10 points respectively.

Trevor Anderson led the Hornets against Fife. For the first four holes he was 1-under at Northshore Golf Course before finishing at 42 for 12 points. Trevor Lubking was two-strokes behind at 45, also for 12 points. Brooks added 10 points shooting 47.
