The Enumclaw High girls played just one soccer game last week, but made it count.

The Hornets opened the South Puget Sound League 3A season Sept. 21 with a 3-0 whitewashing of the visiting Decatur Gators.

The win improved Enumclaw’s season mark to 3-3.

The initial league victory was highlighted by the shutout goalkeeping of Caitlin Plese, plus two goals by Juliet Bannerot and one by Emily Meeks.
