September 27, 2010 · 2:33 PM
Kelly Sweeney set an Enumclaw High girls individual course record Sept. 21 at Auburn Golf Course during the Hornets’ 141-89 win over Auburn Mountainview. Then, she and teammate Janie Francis turned around Thursday and set an individual school course record at Canterwood Golf and Country Club.
In the Hornets’ win over the Lions, Sweeney finished at 40 for the record. She and Francis then shot matching 41s in EHS’s 154-82 win over Peninsula.
The boys team also picked up two wins, topping Auburn Mountainview 88-71 at home Sept. 21 and then beating Peninsula 102-74, also at home, Thursday.
Tyler Salsbury earned medalist honors both days. He shot a 1-under par 35 against the Lions and a 4-under 31 against the Seahawks. Chase Dolliver, Colton McCluskey and David Smith were also top finishers both days.
