After getting off to a bit of a shaky start, White River High’s volleyball unit seems to have righted the ship, as it took its South Puget Sound League 2A record to 4-1, swatting aside both Steilacoom and Eatonville.

White River toppled Steilacoom 25-9, 25-18, 25-27 and 25-12 as Dannie Stroud and Jailyn VanSickle teamed up for 27 kills.

White River then swept Eatonville 25-19, 25-13, 25-23 Thursday evening. Stroud had another good night, racking up another dozen kills.
