The White River High Hornets defeated the Knights of East Valley-Spokane 1-0 Friday at Puyallup's Sparks Stadium.

The semifinal victory means the Hornets get to play for a shot at the state championship at 4 p.m. Saturday, again at Sparks Stadium. Their opponent will be either Sehome High or Archbishop Murphy; those two were playing the late game Friday.
