Dylan Fagan was White River High’s lone champion at the 33-team Lady Lions Invitational at Auburn Mountainview Dec. 22. Fagan was undefeated on the way to the title, her second in two weeks.

In her first tournament of the season, Jesslyn Blue finished third for the Hornets. Teammate Morgan Shirey earned a fifth-place finish, while Madison Franklin ended the day at 2-2.

Kylie Norton, Erika Selby and Kamy Padgett each earned a win. Jaileane Summers also competed.

“It was a long day with a lot of good wrestling,” coach Bob Walker said.

The Hornets were scheduled to compete at the South Puget Sound League tournament Tuesday at Franklin Pierce. Results were not available at press time.
