SPORTS BRIEF: Carel suits up

Enumclaw High graduate Riley Carel scored five points in Seattle Pacific University’s recent 84-61 men’s basketball win over Alaska Fairbanks.
The Falcons (8-3) improved to 2-1 in GNAC play while UAF dropped to 0-3 in league and 3-7 overall.
SPU gained control midway through the first half with a streak of 11 unanswered points.
