WRHS GIRLS WRESTLING: Kilcup, Fagan top Hornet state placers

White River High junior Mikaela Kilcup placed third and sophomore Dylan Fagan finished fifth at the 3A girls state wrestling tournament Saturday at the Tacoma Dome. Kilcup won a 12-4 decision over Carter Marks of Warden for her 152-pound medal. At the same weight, Fagan pinned Kamree Allen of Sedro Woolley in 3 minutes, 37 seconds. Junior Jesslyn Blue did not place. “The girls wrestled well,” coach Joe Klein said. The Hornets finished 14th overall. Sedro Woolley won the tournament.
