EHS WATER POLO: Hornets strong arm Auburn

After suffering two opening-season losses, the Enumclaw High girls water polo team put it all together and beat Auburn 19-7 Thursday.

Erin Stucker led the Hor-net scoring attack with six goals. Annie Birklid added three while Hannah Kinniburgh and Allie and Katie Larrea each added two. Ali Ballard, Kelsey Sonne-son, Alexis Firlotte and Alina VanRuff also added goals to the Hornet total.

Enumclaw lost to Curtis 8-6 March 14 and 10-5 to Auburn Mountainview March 15.

Freshman goalkeeper Megan Lesmeister had 12 saves in her first varsity start.
