The White River Hornets split a pair of games last week in South Puget Sound League 2A soccer action.

After traveling to Steilacoom March 22 and posting a 2-0 victory over the Sentinels, White River hosted Fife Friday night and fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Friday’s loss dropped the Hornets’ overall record to 3-2.

The victory over Steilacoom was highlighted by two goals from Josh Kirk, one in each half.
