Thursday afternoon brought twin wins for the Enumclaw High track and field program.

The Hornets swarmed over the visiting Decatur Gators, as the EHS boys rolled to an 84-60 decision and the girls took a 78-67 verdict.

The Enumclaw boys were paced to two-time winner Robby Johnson, who took the 400-meter run with a time of 55.36 seconds and won the 200 meters in 24.82.

Other first-place finishers for the EHS boys were Zack Mason in the 100-meter dash, 11.83; Peter Nordby in the 300-meter high hurdles, 48.01; Derek Forza, shot put, 38 feet, 9 inches; Kolton Carlson, discus, 126-10; Kaeleb Harper, javelin, 124-07; David Brazier, long jump, 19-01; Erik Van Hulse, triple jump, 35-00; and Logan Ross, pole vault, 12-00.

On the girls' side of the ledger, a Hornet won half the events and Enumclaw used greater depth to pull away for the win.

Taking first-place honors for the EHS girls were Maria Blad in the 100-meter hurdles, 16.38; Emily Eilertson, 800-meter run, 2:37.70; Diane Lindsey, 200 meters, 30.18; Kayla Rodarte, shot put, 30-03; Sierra Carlson, discus, 92-03.5; AnnaMarie Forza, javelin, 105-10; Olivia Bannerot, long jump, 15-11; and both the 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams.

The Hornets do not compete this week, as the district is on spring break.
