Facing two of the South Puget Sound League 3A’s top soccer teams last week, the Enumclaw High Hornets slipped to fifth place in the division standings.
The twin setbacks, both by 3-0 scores, came April 19 at home to Decatur and Friday at Auburn Mountainview.
Things didn’t get any easier early this week, as the Hornets took on co-league leading Bonney Lake High Monday night on the Panthers’ home turf. EHS concludes the regular season Friday by hosting the Lakes Lancers.
