Enumclaw High track and field crew falls at Auburn Mountainview

Enumclaw High's track and field athletes traveled to Auburn Mountainview Thursday and were handed twin losses by their Lion hosts
Exact scores were not available, though it was known the Hornet girls fell by just a slim margin.
For the EHS girls, Chandler Weiman was a two-time winner. She grabbed the 800-meter title with a clocking of 2 minutes, 37.21 seconds and took the 1,600 meters in 5:49.11.
Other event winners for EHS were Maria Blad, 300-meter hurdles, 49.27; AnnaMarie Forza, javelin, 113 feet; and Olivia Bannerot, long jump, 16-8.5. Also, the EHS foursome won the 4.100-meter relay.
The Hornet boys also managed a few first-place efforts against the tough Lion crew.
Peter Nordby was tops in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 46.23; Kaeleb Harper won the javelin with a throw of 124-6; Logan Ross took the pole vault in 12-6; and the 4x400 crew won with a time of 3:48.95.
