An annual 5k run/walk, offered as part of the Enumclaw Street Fair celebration, is planned for July 23.

Now in its fourth year, the event covers a 3.1-mile course that begins and ends at the corner of Railroad Street and Myrtle Avenue, adjacent to the Enumclaw library.

Packet pick-up begins at 7:30 a.m.; the race starts at 9. Participants will travel north on Railroad, turn right on Battersby Avenue, go around Ellenson Park and then loop back into downtown.

On-line registration can be found at www.enumclawstreetfair.com.

Early registration for the event ends at 10 p.m. Friday; prices are $20 for adults and $15 for those 12 and younger. A family pass, good for two adults and one child, is $50. The cost for those registering July 2 through July 15 increases to $30 for adults and $20 for those 12 and younger, and the family pass remains $65. Registration also will be taken the morning of the event.
