Tyler Salsbury is ready for the Hornets’ season to begin Monday.
The Enumclaw High senior added the Tacoma Golf Association’s Junior City Amateur title to his growing list of summer accomplishments.
With a six-birdie performance Aug. 10 during the final round of play at Allenmore Golf Course, Salsbury won his second straight TGA junior title. He finished that round at 5-under par 66. He was 4-under at 67 during the first round of play and 1-under during Round 2.
At 10-under, 203 strokes, for the tournament, Salsbury was the clear winner. Jacob Leonard of Puyallup was second at 217.
Hornet teammate David Smith finished at 232 for sixth. Jared Beals also competed, but did not make the final cut.
