The Enumclaw High girls enjoyed a two-win week in South Puget Sound League 3A soccer action.

The Hornets defeated Decatur 2-1 Thursday evening and blanked Peninsula High 1-0 Sept. 27. The victories improved the Hornets’ mark to 2-1 in SPSL 3A play and 3-4-1 overall.

Thursday’s home-field victory was highlighted by second-half goals by Hannah Dahlquist and Katie Christensen. The Gators led much of the way, having scored in the game’s ninth minute.

The Sept. 27 victory came courtesy of a second-half goal by Jessica Snoen and the shutout goaltending of Katie Craft.

The Hornets take to the road this week for a pair of league contests. EHS was at Auburn Mountainview Tuesday night to challenge the Lions and heads to Bonney Lake Thursday for a battle with the highly-regarded Panthers.
