Local teams in final AP state basketball poll

A trio of local teams were listed when the Associated Press issued its final, regular-season basketball poll.

On the boys Class 2A side, White River (18-5) was fifth and the Sumner Spartans (18-5) were ninth. White River moved up a notch from the previous week and Sumner slipped three spots.

Among girls, Class 2A White River (21-2) was fifth, same as the week before.
