White River boys take second at state basketball tournament | State Basketball

The  White River boys basketball team finished second in the state tournament Saturday with Lynden High taking first.

The Hornets lost to Lynden 66-45 Saturday at the Yakima Valley SunDome in the final round of the tournament.

White River began the tournament with a 67-65 victory over Ellensburg Thursday and the boys beat Lindberg in the second round 43-40.

The girls team took second at the tournament.
