Two developments this week have rocked the world of prep football of the Plateau.

First came the news that Enumclaw High coach Don Bartel has resigned.

Second, it was confirmed Thursday morning that the rivalry game between Enumclaw and White River high is back on. The annual battle went on hiatus several years ago. White River Athletic Director Chris Gibson said Thursday the rivalry has been renewed and, following some schedule shuffling, will be this fall's opening game.

Both these stories will be updated as details become available.
