Jr. Hornets Football and Cheerleading Tryouts/Signups are Wed., March 21.

Be at Thunder Mountain Middle School from 5-7:30 p.m.

2012-2013 second- through eighth-grade prospective cheerleaders are invited to sign up for the inagural cheerleading squad, EHS Cheer Coach Kim Westerberg will advise the staff and EHS cheerleaders will mentor. Cheer “tryouts” will come at a later date.

Second- through 8th-grade athletes may try out for a place on one of the five select tackle football teams (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams). Bring registration (printable off www.jrhornetsfootball.com), water, cleats and wear workout clothes. Roster sizes are limited. Note: the football team a boy will be on is his grade for the Sept. 2012-13 school year.

Player/Cheer costs won’t be due until our Equipment Fitting Day, March 31. Players/Cheerleaders buy their own gear, enabling return-player/cheer savings.

The Enumclaw Jr. Hornets Football season begins Monday, July 23 and ends mid-November. Weekday practices for football and cheer will occur 6-8 p.m. 4 days/week in the summer, 3 days/week in the school year. All games are on Saturdays, beginning late August.
