White River High’s Marcus Dickson continues to post eye-popping numbers.

The latest effort for the Hornet track standout came Saturday at the Kent-Meridian Invitational, where Dickson cranked out an 800-meter time of 1 minute, 50.89 seconds. Not only did the Brigham Young University-bound runner shatter his own school record, but the time now stands as the best in the nation this season.

According to statistics compiled by the website athletic.net, Dickson also has the state’s second-best time in the 1,600 meters, 4:14.70; third-best time in the 400 meters, 49.97; and third-best time in the 3,200 meters, 9:23.20.
