White River soccer squad defeated twice | Boys Soccer

Friday provided the White River High boys with an afternoon to forget, as the Hornets were buried 7-0 by Fife in South Puget Sound League 2A play.

The contest took place on the Trojans’ home turf.

Friday’s verdict capped a two-loss week for the Hornets, who had dropped a 2-1, home-field tussle with Steilacoom March 27. The Hornets hit the scoreboard first when Johnny Tapia-Anaya scored early in the second half; the Sentinels soon answered with a game-tying tally and went on to win in overtime.
