Plateau graduates compete in Big Sky track and field championships

Three Plateau graduates recently competed in the 2012 Big Sky Conference indoor track and field championships.

The event took place at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Collin Green, a 2010 White River High graduate and sophomore at Eastern Washington University, competed in the Eagles' 4x400 relay. He teamed with three others to win the Big Sky title with a time of 3 minutes, 11.04 seconds, breaking an EWU record that had stood for 22 years.

Carley McCutchen, also a 2010 White River grad and now a sophomore at Montana State University, competed for the Bobcats in the women's pentathlon, placing 13th with a total score of 2,428.

Veroncia Stinnett, a 2010 Bonney Lake High graduate and a sophomore at Sacramento State University, placed seventh for the Hornets in the women's 800 meters with a time of 2:20.52.
