Several local athletes participate in state judo competition

KiHaku Judo Club from Enumclaw entered several competitors at the annual Evergreen State Judo Tournament.
Enumclaw High School captain Jade Paterson placed first in her division and Sean Wei, also from Enumclaw, placed third.
White River team captain Gavin Severson placed third and younger brother Garret Severson placed first in their divisions.
Junior competitors from the Enumclaw Parks and Recreation program included Seagan McKibben, who placed second in his division, and Ethan Rego, who was third.In the Senior Black Belt Division, Joey Bitetto place second in his division.
The Enumclaw Judo Club meets from 6 to 8 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday in the Enumclaw High School wrestling room.
