White River drops opener in 2A tournament | State fastpitch

The White River High girls dropped their opening game Friday morning in the state Class 2A fastpitch tournament.

Playing at Carlon Park in Selah, the  Hornets were defeated 10-4 by Granite Falls.

With the loss, White River next plays at 2 p.m. Friday against Cheney in a loser-out contest. Cheney lost 12-1 Friday morning to Tumwater.
