Despite a loss in their final game, the Enumclaw girls soccer team won the South Puget Sound League East and will head into the sub-district tournament as the No. 1 seed.
The Hornets, however, faced a tough opponent Thursday as Bonney Lake, the league's No. 2 seed bested Enumclaw 2-0.
The loss drops Enumclaw's overall record to 11-4-0 with a 7-2-0 record in the SPSL 3A. The Hornets finished the season with 25 points, just ahead of the Panthers, who finished with 24.
Enumclaw takes on Peninsula on Nov. 3 in their first postseason match.
