EHS splits Wednesday games, plays again Friday | STATE WATER POLO

The Enumclaw High School boys water polo team played two games in the opening round of the state tournament on Wednesday, November 7.  The Hornets beat Lakes 12-11 in their first game and lost to defending state champion Bellevue 20-4 in their second game.

The Hornets advance to quarterfinal play on Friday at Curtis High School.  The Hornets will play at 5:20 p.m. against Newport.

• If the Hornets lose to Newport, they would play in a consolation game on Friday at 8:50 p.m., and play for 5th through 8th place on Saturday afternoon.

If the Hornets beat Newport, the Hornets would advance to the semifinal game at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, and play for 1st through 4th place Saturday evening.

The Hornets have a 18-9-1 overall record, and an 11-3 league record.
