Plateau American Legion team plays Tuesday night for berth in Final Four

The Plateau Baseball Club guaranteed itself a Top 8 finish with a Monday victory at the state American Legion championships.

Playing at Walla Walla Community College, the Plateau squad defeated Colville 4-1.

The PBC team – comprised of players from White River and Enumclaw high schools – plays again at 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, taking on a team from the Aberdeen area.

A win tonight would put the Plateau squad into the Final Four. A loss would mean elimination from the tournament.
