CHANTAL’S AT EMERALD DOWNS! Chantal Sutherland-Kruse makes her Emerald Downs debut on He’s Not Bluffin for trainer Howard Belvoir. A 37-year-old Toronto native, Sutherland Kruse has 936 career wins and has been a leading rider in Woodbine, and also has ridden several years in Southern California. She’s best known for her work on Game On Dude, whom she guided to a runner-up finish in the 2011 Breeders’ Cup Classic. Sutherland-Kruse also has done extensive work as a model, and retired from riding last year after her marriage to businessman Dan Kruse. She resumed her riding career in July and rode five winners at the Del Mar meet that ended Wednesday.
