Enumclaw trainer Frank Lucarelli wins Santa Ana Stakes Grade 2 with Stormy Lucy

Frank Lucarelli trained Stormy Lucy, 5-year-old bay mare, won the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes on the turf Sunday earning $120,000 from a $200,000 guaranteed purse.

The mare broke from the second post and come from as many as six lengths back to win by a 1 1/2 lengths in he 1 1/8 mile race.

Stormy Lucy paid $11 to win, 4.80 to place and 3.40 for show.

The Kentucky-bred is owned by Erica Gaunt.
