Gunners earn league soccer title

The Mount Rainier Futbol Club Gunners, a boys U12 team, captured first place in the District 3 Gold-Emerald League. The Gunners went 11-1-2 on the season.

The team is made up of kids 11 and 12 year olds, in fifth and sixth grade, from Enumclaw, Bonney Lake and Puyallup. This is their second year together.

The team will be participating in the Fred Meyer Commissioners Cup, the state tournament, in January.
