BLHS falls to Enumclaw

The Bonney Lake High girls fell to Enumclaw 4-1 in South Puget Sound League 3A action April 7 at home.

Charlene Cade scored the Panthers’ lone victory with a hard-fought win over Amanda Ostee, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.

Jessica Roller lost to Morgan Johnson, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3, in the other singles match.

In doubles play, Emily McCoy and Ashley Reisen lost to Anna Nelson and Lauren Nelson, 6-3, 6-4; Kayla Babcock and Alise McCoy fell in three games to Julie Sanders and Breanna Pierce, 2-6, 6-0, 6-3; and Emily Peiss and Beverly Kobe lost to Bedda Johnson and Gina Sanders, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.

The Panthers play at Franklin Pierce Thursday and host Clover Park Tuesday in SPSL 3A play.
