As season draws to a close, BLHS hits its stride

The Bonney Lake Panthers nipped Peninsula 3-2 April 28 in South Puget Sound League 3A play on their home court.

The Seahawks won both singles matches, but Bonney Lake dominated doubles play.

Emily Peiss fell 6-1, 6-0, and Kelli Hoffman lost 6-3, 6-4.

Alice McCoy and Emily McCoy defeated Alisa Padilla and Taylor Straub, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4; Katie Barrie and Jessica Roller had an easy time winning 6-0, 6-2. Kayla Babcock and Beverly Kobe won 6-4, 6-0.

Bonney Lake hosts Auburn Mountainview Thursday and ends the regular season at Sumner Monday in league play.
